Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to your most commonly asked questions.
Is there an advantage to submitting an application as early as possible after birth?
No, all applicants have up until the closing date to submit an Application for Enrolment and priority isn't given based on the date of receipt.
However, you are welcome to submit an application at any time after your son's birth. While an early application doesn't affect enrolment priority, it provides parents with peace of mind that the application has been made. We will contact you two years prior to the requested entry year for further details.
Does St Augustine’s College offer scholarships?
No, we do not offer scholarships at this time.
I have missed the closing date for enrolment applications. Can I still submit an application?
Yes, late applications are accepted for our waiting list.
My son is not Catholic, can we still apply?
Yes, all students are welcome. Please refer to the College’s Enrolment Policy for information regarding enrolment offer priority considerations.
What are the benefits of sending my son to an all-boys school?
Our focus on boys allows us to structure everything specifically to how boys learn best. We know boys and shape their education in ways that fill them with a sense of purpose and success. Your son's entire learning experience at our College is designed to get the most out of him, allowing him to excel academically while growing into a young man of integrity and empathy. Where do students who attend St Augustine's College live?
Our students are drawn from a smaller geographic area than many other independent schools. Your son will make lifelong friends who live close by, and the entire family becomes part of our tight knit community within the Northern Beaches and surrounds of Sydney, all while accessing opportunities and a world-class education.
