We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Secondary School Teacher Librarian to join our library team. This exciting role can be tailored to be either full-time or part-time, based on the needs of the preferred candidate.
As a Teacher Librarian in our team, you will:
- Work with our library team to create a vibrant and welcoming library environment that nurtures a love for reading and literature.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver engaging, student-centred programs.
- Develop and implement engaging programs to teach students essential research skills, critical thinking and effective use of digital and print resources
- Deliver innovative lessons for our students.
- Support the Augustinian Catholic culture of our College.
- Contribute to the academic, spiritual, and co-curricular life of the College.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Relevant qualifications in Education and Library & Information Science or Teacher Librarianship
- Must hold NESA accreditation to teach in NSW
- A passion for teaching and student learning.
- Experience working in a secondary school context will be highly regarded
- Excellent organisational and behavioural management skills.
- A commitment to the Catholic and St Augustine's educational values.
